Drum Screen

The Drum Screen is a specialized machine used in paper pulp stock preparation systems to remove large light impurities from waste paper pulp. This screening equipment is designed for optimal performance, combining high efficiency with low energy consumption. The machine features a screen basket, machine bracket, gear motor, belt drive, riding wheel system, and a spray pipe system. Light impurities and pulp enter the screen basket through the inlet pipe. Gravity and helical blades inside the screen basket work together to guide the impurities to the discharge outlet while allowing fine pulp to pass through the accepted pulp opening. The integrated spray system keeps the screen basket clean and unblocked for consistent performance.
