Product Description
The Cast Iron Dryer Cylinder is an essential part of paper pulp stock preparation machines, primarily used to dry and smooth the paper surface during production. Made from high-grade cast iron, this hollow cylinder features end covers and a polished exterior, with diameters typically ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 mm. Key components include the cylinder body, cylinder cover, steam inlet pipe, and drainage siphon.
In operation, high-temperature steam enters the hollow shaft, transferring heat to dry the paper and enhance its surface quality. The cast iron's unique graphite flake structure ensures smooth separation of the paper from the cylinder surface, preventing sticking during the drying process.
Product Advantage
Exceptional Durability: The cast iron construction offers outstanding resistance to corrosion, erosion, and fatigue under roller pressures, ensuring a long service life.
High Efficiency: The polished outer surface and efficient heat transfer capabilities optimize drying and finishing performance for paper products.
Advanced Design: Features such as grooves for stationary siphons and insulated steam pipes enhance functionality and reduce energy loss.
Versatility: With customizable diameters and robust materials, the Cast Iron Dryer Cylinder adapts to various papermaking requirements.
Low Maintenance: The durable surface eliminates the need for additional treatments like metal spraying, reducing operational costs.
