The Multi-disc thickener sector is a crucial component of the disc thickener and disc filter, which are part of the continuous rotary thickening equipment in paper pulp stock preparation. This equipment is widely used for dewatering and concentrating various types of pulp, including mechanical wood pulp, waste paper pulp, reed pulp, and bamboo pulp. These pulps typically have low freeness, short fibers, or high density. The Multi-disc thickener sector works by facilitating gravity-driven dewatering, where the pulp stock is absorbed onto the disc surface and water is drained through a hollow shaft.
