The Disc Thickener is a continuous rotary thickening device used for dewatering and concentrating various types of pulp, including mechanical wood pulp, waste paper pulp, reed pulp, bamboo pulp, and straw pulp. It is particularly effective for pulps with low freeness, short fibers, or high density. The machine features a compact design, making it ideal for efficient dewatering in pulp and paper production. The large filtering area allows for the removal of large amounts of white water, and the filtered water has a lower density compared to that filtered by drum thickeners.
