Corrugator roll

The Corrugator roll is a critical element in corrugated board production equipment, primarily used in single-side machines. Typically constructed from 48CrMoA steel, the roll undergoes advanced surface treatments, including heat and cold processing, to achieve hardness levels exceeding HRC55. Its design includes upper and lower corrugator rolls, which work in synchronization to form the corrugated paper structure.

The lower corrugator roll functions as the active roller, powered by a motor via a deceleration device, while the upper corrugator roll serves as the driven roller. The meshing mechanism of these rolls differs from conventional gear systems, utilizing precision engagement to shape corrugated paper. Radial pressure, applied via cylinders, ensures effective paper formation, delivering high-quality results.
